Hi, I’m Jane, a qualified integrative counsellor. I work with both young people (from age 15 years) and adults, both in person at my studio in Cambridge and online via zoom.
Life can be very difficult at times, which can lead to you feeling anxious, confused, unhappy and unheard, and sometimes it’s those feelings that can prevent you from leading the life you want.
I believe everyone has the right to be heard and supported, in a non-judgemental, empathetic way, and I work with clients to help explore and understand their emotions, feelings, and concerns, and progress towards a better future.

I have experience in assisting clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma, gender identification, ADHD, self-harm, family issues and generally feeling overwhelmed. I approach each client with empathy and a willingness to listen.
In technical terms, I draw on different modalities, particularly person-centred counselling, but simply put, I ensure that my clients get the support they need without judgement, in a safe, nurturing and confidential environment. However you are feeling, and whatever your difficulties, you are not alone. I will work with you to help you work through any issues, enabling you to reach your own solutions.
At my core, I believe it is important that the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client be trusting and sensitive. Taking the first step can be daunting, but if you are experiencing a difficult situation that is causing painful emotions, I can offer you support to explore these challenges together and help you to identify a way forward.
Here to listen. Here to help.
